Dear Rocky Mountain Weaver’s Guild,

I want to send a sincere Thank You to all the guild members who took part in making my trip to Colorado so enjoyable. Everything went so smoothly thanks to all the preplanning that took place between the Guild and the Denver Art Museum and the Recycled Lamb and members of outside guilds as well. You all made me feel like “Queen for a Week.” 🙂 I enjoyed meeting everyone in person after months of e-mailing and also getting to know the students in the workshop better after three days. Thank you to all who came to my lecture at the museum and laughed at my jokes and sat through 500 slides! 🙂 Thanks to those of you who have added my artworks to their collections. I hope you enjoy the tapestries for many years to come.

I would like to thank in particular: Dale Zitech, Sandy Hutton, Tina Broderson, and Cheryl Nachtreib who were key in helping facilitate all that took place after Alice Zrebiec so kindly added my “nite flite” weaving to the Denver Art Museum collection in early 2013.

I am back home and immersed in the next project but am thinking back fondly on a great trip to Colorado. The road there and back was not rocky at all, but very smooth and enjoyable. Thanks again!
