LOVE THOSE TOUCHY FEELY REAL SAMPLES???
Did you know we have notebooks of wonderful real samples in both libraries that you might use for inspiration? These samples are the work of our members and you too can be a part of the history.
Sign up to share your knowledge and creativity with others in the guild. We need both spinners and weavers. You can sign up by emailing me, Judy Lepthien, samples@rmweaversguild.org.
Weaving sample: Two 6”x6” samples as well as photos in .jpg. Also the weaving draft in .wif form and a description of your process and revelations in weaving the sample.
Spinning sample: approximately 4 yards long wound into a butterfly.
Dyeing sample? I will be happy to accept any dyeing samples with descriptions.
Email the photo in .jpg and the .wif draft to the newsletter editor and also to me, joodles45@gmail.com. Bring the samples to the meeting and I will put them in the notebooks. See the September and October newsletters for the format.
Any questions? Email me at the above.
Thanks. Judy Lepthien
