Friends Linked by Fiber Chains

Starting last May (2016), a group of spinners, weavers, knitters, and crocheters started a chain of fiber projects that tested their skills, dedication, and commitment to deadlines. Each person (person #1) brought 6 ounces of spinnable fiber to the first meeting, and transferred it to the next person (person #2) on the schedule. That person spun the fiber into hundreds of yards of yarn. The deadline for this was September 1; some met the deadline and some didn’t. The yarn was tranferred to person #3, who made something from it. The projects were knitted, felted, crocheted, and woven. In early January, the projects were complete (or almost!) and tranferred back to person #1 in each series. Beautiful projects, and very educational.
