Natural Dye Study Group

Natural Dye Study Group– The dye garden study group members support the collaboration between the Rocky Mountain Weavers Guild and the Denver Botanic Garden at Chatfield that resulted in the Janice Ford Memorial Dye Garden.

The “formal” dye garden work days in 2015 were Thursdays and dye days were Wednesday, when the CSA kitchen was available. Next year the schedule may be different. We are working on a log book to keep on site with the list of jobs that need to be done. There will always be something that needs doing!

As you can see, we worked hard during the growing season; lots of activities and always lots of weeding, of course. Fall is the time for harvesting, drying, and dyeing. Come and join us. For more information about the dye garden and our activities, please contact
