RMWG’s Circulation Library has over 900 items, offering current and out of print books, monographs, videos, short course notes, sample collections and a magazine archive for members to check out. Fiber arts subjects include basketry, beading, kumihimo, spinning, surface design, lace making, and polymer clay, in addition to knitting and weaving. The Library is open during the Guild meetings, but not during the actual program. The libraries are stored at Spirit of Hope UM Church, where our meetings take place. Use this form to reserve a meeting space and time at the church: Facility Use Request Form
For information about magazine subscriptions, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
To request that the library acquire a new book in which you’re interested, send an email to Circulation Library, with the title, author, subject and as much other information as you have (publisher, ISBN, publication date, etc.). The Library Committee will consider your request for the new acquisition.
Note: Password will change on September 1–please make sure your dues are paid before that in order to get the new password and to continue to have access to the newsletters and other password-protected pages! The new password will be sent by e-blast from the president to members who have paid their dues for the current fiscal year. Dues are due June 1, which is the beginning of the fiscal year.
>The Reference Library contains over 350 items, many not easily accessible to a general reader. The collection was obtained by the Guild in 2002 with a view to preserving a body of information and providing members with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of specific aspects of weaving and other fiber-related subjects. The collection is open on announced dates (see the Calendar section of the web page) and sometimes following guild meetings. Items may be photocopied or scanned, but not checked out. The libraries are stored in the Library room at the church, where our meetings take place.
SNOW POLICY – If there is a snow storm during one of the scheduled open times (see the Calendar), the library will probably not open. If in doubt, call Sally Kuhn (see yearbook) before you drive to the church.
The Reference Library is available to current members who have paid dues for the current guild year.
