2014 Fiber Arts Sale

Posted by on Nov 19, 2014 in News

Thank you for supporting our 2014 Annual Fiber Arts Sale!!!

Despite the freezing temperatures and snow, our Annual Fiber Arts Sale was a success. We had lots of new members participating, which was exciting to see. Many of our regular participants had other commitments or got stuck at home because of the weather. Photos will be posted on our web page.

Jo Ann Patterson-Lavely will the Sale Chair for 2015. But I want to thank you all for helping to make our Sale a wonderful event we look forward to each year. It’s heartwarming to see new and seasoned members participating. A very special thank you to all the committee members for their hard work and dedication to making this a special event for our Guild.

Happy Holidays.

Sandi Uno
2014 Sale Chair

We Need Help! (Committee Help…)

Posted by on Nov 2, 2014 in News

Nominating Committee

Each year a small but dedicated group of volunteers help find the board members for the following year. This year is no different. We need two people to serve on the nominating committee. The committee will seek out people who will serve as board members for the 2015-2016 guild year. This is a short- term commitment and gives you the chance to connect with and meet other guild members. Contact Deborah Crane (President- elect) if interested in participating on this committee.

Scholarship Committee

Rosmarie Amstein Scholarship Fund: Scholarship applications and guidelines are available on the website and can be sent to Deborah Crane (President- elect). There will be two scholarships, $250.00 each, offered this year with a deadline of December 20, the December guild meeting. The scholarships will be awarded in January, in time to register for classes at IWC (Intermountain Weavers Conference) if you want. Their registration opens February 1st. See their website for more details. www.intermountainweavers.org.
If you are interested in being on the committee to review the applications, please contact Deborah Crane (President-elect).
