September workshop cancelled

We are sorry to announce that Marcia Kosmerchock has had to cancel her workshop and program for health reasons. There is a possibility that the workshop might be rescheduled. Please let Sharon Rowlen know if you are interested in receiving information about a rescheduled workshop.

Salida Fiber Festival Sept 6-7

The Salida Fiber Festival 2014 is September 6 and 7 in Riverside Park, Salida, Colorado.
The hours are 9 to 5 on Saturday and 10 to 4 on Sunday.
There will be vendors, food and beverages, classes, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and more!
All your fiber friends will be there! It’s a beautiful 2 1/2 hour drive from Denver on US 285 through South Park.

Elizabeth Fiber Festival Sept 20-21

Please join us on September 20 & 21, 2014 for our 3rd Annual Elizabeth Fiber Festival. It will be at Casey Jones Park, in beautiful Elizabeth, CO on the corner of Highway 86 & County Road 17.

We are hoping to showcase all fiber animals, goats, sheep, rabbits, llamas and of course our beloved alpacas. We already have a few goats ready to come visit and our looking for those sheep and rabbit people to join us also. Our purpose at this event is to promote and educate the public about our fiber producing animals and their fleece, showcase the wonderful products made from all of these animals and sell our fleeces and products.

There will be weaving, skirting/sorting, crocheting/knitting, and other demonstrations throughout the day.
