Basket Weaving Outreach Opportunity

Posted by on Apr 9, 2014 in Outreach

Hello Guild Members, looking ahead to October . . .
We received this inquiry from the American Society of Botanical Artists:
Our 20th anniversary national/international conference will be here in Denver this October. Our conference is 4 days long and consists of lectures, portfolio sharing, workshops and half day as well as full day classes. We are taking conference goers to the Plains Conservation Center to show them the native grasses, etc. that grow there. This tour in particular made me wonder if you have a group member who may be enthusiastic about sharing their basket weaving skills and the plants used in this process because it ties in nicely with the Plains Conservation Center Tour. The 18th of October from 8:30am to 3pm is a time frame I have available.
If any of you are interested, please contact me for more information.
Meri Moller
Outreach Coordinator
