RMWG Invited to Display Members’ Work at TACtile

Posted by on Jan 10, 2013 in News

The RMWG has been invited to display members’ work in the Tactile Gallery, February through late March/early April 2013. This will be another great opportunity to educate the public about fiber art, the Guild, plus showcase our beautiful work! We will need pieces of guild members’ handmade work for the display plus a small loom, spinning wheel and any other fiber related equipment during this time. Items to be displayed could be things displayed at the Colorado Weavers Day or the Englewood library displays during the fall sale. Please consider displaying your work!

I could also use help setting up the display. This would be a small, short volunteer project perfect for any new members. I will try to set up the display on Thursday, Jan 31st (afternoon) at Tactile.

Please contact Carla Ray (see yearbook) if you have art you are willing to loan work for the display or if you would like to volunteer with the set-up. Items for the display can be brought to the January Guild meeting and given to Shelly DeChantal (I will be out of town) or contact me to make other arrangements.
Thanks!

Carla Ray
