We have a new web site!!

Posted by on Aug 20, 2012 in News

Welcome to our new website. I hope you love it as much as I do. Bookmark it now because we’ll be using it for much of our communications! (Really, bookmark it now.)

Check out the Calendar. You’ll find all sorts of events: the meetings, workshops, other fun things.  Read the summer newsletter. You’ll find an article about the new rules for the Guild Sale, so if you make things for the sale, check that out.

Plans for the future: We’ll be hooking up with PayPal to allow online payments (like your membership). We’ll still working out those details, but be watching for them. See you in September!

Kudos and Web Site Features!

Welcome to our redesigned website for Rocky Mountain Weavers Guild.  Updating our website has been a discussion for several years, and now it has happened!  Many thanks to:

  • Ling  Yi C. for creating the initial navigation and managing the Request For Proposal process
  • Sharon  R. for being the RMWG liaison with Hard Wired Clouds and guiding all the many aspects of the redesign
  • Susan  B. for agreeing to serve as our Webmaster and surviving the training  ‘crash course’
  • All  the guild members who supplied photos and copy for our website!

You’ll find navigation across the top (Home, Calendar, Guild Information, Resources, Contact and “Join Now” button).  Plus, you’ll see popular pages listed along the right side so you can quickly get to where you want to go:  Directory, Equipment Rental and Scholarship.

Guild members:  all the information in our paper Yearbook is now on line, with most listed under Guild Information>About.  Want to know if a terrific book is in our Circulating Library or our Reference Library?  You can look that up BEFORE you arrive at the guild meeting under Resources>Libraries.  There is a lot of information on this web site, designed to be easily accessible.

Browse through the pages and let us know what you think!

Susan Du Bois, for the RMWG Web Site Committee
